Biography
Ivan Quintana is a contemporary figurative artist that started to exhibit his pieces of art since 1997. Born and raised in Chihuahua, Mr. Quintana started to develop his talent from a very young age. In his professional stage, he discovered his distinctive style, and the passion for paintings, in a profound professional level. Ivan started his journey to become a professional Oil painter, trough his studies in “Plastic Arts” in the faculty of Arts of the University of Chihuahua, in Chihuahua.
Concept
Ivan Quintana’s art integrates, and in this way affirms as diverse, and as original. Ivan admits, without fear, his influences; he makes them his, and works in an expanded frame of possibilities. Ivan searches the corners of history of the Art; he takes technical, and conceptual resources; even from the artists’ life, he takes lessons with dedication and excitement.
